Patient Enrollment Specialist - Health & Wellness Sales

Remote (US-Based, Eastern Time) | $60,000 Base + Uncapped Bonus | 75000 - 95,000+ OTE

CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates | Portsmouth, NH

Before you read further, a few things to be upfront about:

  • This role is open to US-based candidates only. You must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • You must be available to work Eastern Time business hours.
  • This is a consultative phone sales role. Success takes more than booking appointments. The people you book need to show up understanding our approach, the cost, and the commitment involved.

You’ll be guiding people - many of whom are frustrated, skeptical, or hesitant - toward making a confident decision to finally address a problem they’ve been putting off.

You need to listen carefully, ask good questions, and be comfortable talking about money.

If you’ve built a career on conversations where people trust you enough to take the next step - and you have the results to prove it - keep reading.

About Us

CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates is a 100% cash-based movement and musculoskeletal health practice in Portsmouth, NH. We help active adults over 40 get out of pain, stay strong and independent, and expand what’s possible - without relying on pills, procedures, or surgery.

Our approach combines advanced musculoskeletal care and mechanical therapy, regenerative technology, and Pilates-based rehabilitation. Every client receives personalized, 1:1 care focused on lasting results.

Our clients are active, intelligent, curious people who want more agency over their health. They want to understand their options and make informed decisions about their care.

Our founder, Dr. Carrie Jose, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy practitioner, author, and longtime columnist for Seacoast Media Group.

More than 250 people reach out to us each month through our content, advertising, masterclasses, referrals, and other channels. You’ll be connecting with people who’ve already expressed interest, including those who haven’t yet taken the next step.

We’re building toward multi-location expansion, and this role sits at the center of that growth.

About This Role

You’re the first real conversation many prospective patients have with us.

Your job is to turn interest into qualified Discovery Visits with people who show up informed, prepared, and ready to explore moving forward.

That means understanding:

  • What’s been going on and how it’s affecting their life
  • What they’ve already tried and why they’re still looking for help
  • What they want to get back to doing
  • What’s holding them back from taking action
  • Whether they’re willing and able to invest in the right care

You’ll explain how our approach works and be upfront about the financial commitment. Our Comprehensive Evaluation is $395, and most care plans range from 5,000 - 7,000.

Those conversations happen before the visit, so patients arrive with clear expectations.

You won’t diagnose, recommend treatment, or close care plans. Our clinicians handle those decisions. You’ll help people understand the process, work through their concerns, and decide whether taking the next step makes sense.

If you’re only comfortable booking people who are already sold, this role won’t be a fit.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Connecting promptly with new inquiries and re-engaging older leads
  • Completing 80-100 purposeful outbound touchpoints per day through calls, texts, emails, and video
  • Leading thoughtful conversations about each person’s concerns, goals, and readiness for care
  • Explaining the value of our approach in language that connects to what matters to them
  • Discussing evaluation fees and typical care plan costs clearly and confidently
  • Working through concerns about cost, time, skepticism, and previous care that hasn’t helped
  • Following up consistently until there’s a clear decision or agreed next step
  • Booking qualified Discovery Visits and preparing patients for what happens next
  • Confirming appointments and reinforcing commitment before visits
  • Keeping GoHighLevel accurate with clear notes, current stages, and follow-up tasks
  • Tracking your performance and identifying where conversations or follow-up need to improve
  • Participating in weekly coaching and call reviews, then applying the feedback

We track activity, booking rate, show rate, and what happens after the Discovery Visit. You’ll be expected to understand your numbers and take ownership of improving them.

What Success Looks Like

Within 90 days:

  • 40+ qualified Discovery Visits booked per month
  • 85%+ Discovery Visit show rate
  • 70%+ of attended Discovery Visits move forward to a Paid Evaluation
  • Confident, accurate conversations about our process, pricing, and commitment
  • Consistent follow-up with clear next steps documented in the CRM

That third number matters. It helps us understand whether patients are arriving prepared for the conversation with their clinician.

Within 12 months:

  • Consistent performance against your monthly targets
  • A well-managed pipeline where interested people receive timely, thoughtful follow-up
  • Strong collaboration with our clinical and front desk teams
  • Measurable improvement in conversion through coaching and call review
  • Meaningful contribution to the growth of the practice

A full calendar only matters if the right people show up ready to move forward.

Who Thrives in This Role

You’ll do well here if:

  • You build trust quickly by listening carefully and asking thoughtful questions
  • You’re comfortable discussing premium pricing without apologizing for it
  • You can hear “I need to think about it” and explore what the person still needs to make a decision
  • You adapt naturally when a conversation goes off script
  • You follow up consistently while respecting someone’s decision
  • You take ownership of outcomes, including what happens after an appointment is booked
  • You can explain your results with numbers, examples, and what you’ve learned
  • You welcome coaching and put it into practice
  • You want to help build a growing company and earn more as your contribution grows

You understand that someone can be interested in getting help and still need a skilled, honest conversation before they’re ready to act.

Who This Is NOT For

This won’t be a fit if:

  • You’re looking for a scheduling, administrative, or customer service position
  • You rely on pressure, manufactured urgency, or promises about treatment outcomes
  • You avoid conversations about cost or commitment
  • You need people to be ready to buy before you can help them move forward
  • You rely heavily on scripts and struggle to adapt
  • You measure success by how many appointments you book without looking at attendance or readiness
  • You resist call reviews, feedback, or being measured against clear targets

Requirements

  • US-based with authorization to work in the United States
  • Availability during Eastern Time business hours
  • 2+ years of consultative, high-ticket B2C sales experience
  • A demonstrated track record of hitting conversion, appointment attendance, or revenue targets
  • Strong listening, objection-handling, and follow-up skills
  • Experience using a CRM consistently and accurately; GoHighLevel experience is a plus
  • Excellent spoken and written communication
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and personal accountability
  • Full-Time weekly schedule M-F with a mix of different shifts daily ranging from 8am-5pm EST to 10am-7pm EST depending on the day. This is a salary position measured on outcome - the expectation is to flex your schedule to fit the needs of the leads when applicable.

Relevant backgrounds include:

  • Med spas or cosmetic dentistry
  • Chiropractic or cash-based healthcare
  • Functional or regenerative medicine
  • Hearing aids
  • Hormone or weight-loss clinics
  • Boutique fitness or high-ticket coaching

You need experience helping individuals make considered decisions about a meaningful personal investment.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $60,000
  • Uncapped monthly performance bonus
  • On-target earnings: 75,000 - 95,000+ annually

Your bonus is based on Paid Evaluations attended by patients whose Discovery Visits you personally booked.

Your monthly tier determines the rate paid on every qualifying evaluation that month:

At 28 attended evaluations, your monthly bonus is $2,940. Consistently delivering 31 attended evaluations per month brings annual base salary plus bonuses to $104,640, with additional earning potential beyond that.

We reward attended evaluations because patient readiness and follow-through matter.

Benefits:

  • Health and dental insurance contribution up to $250/mos
  • 401(k) with employer match after one year
  • Earned PTO, plus the week between Christmas and New Year’s off
  • Weekly sales coaching, call reviews, and development
  • Travel opportunities for industry masterminds and events

Final Note and How to Apply

This role matters.

You’ll often be speaking with someone who’s been living with pain for months or years. They may have tried other care, spent money without getting results, or started wondering whether this is just how life is going to be.

Your ability to listen, build trust, and guide an honest conversation can help them finally take the next step.

If you take that responsibility seriously - and you have the skill to back it up - we want to meet you.
