Marketing Assistant
Marketing Assistant: Content & Media Marketing Specialist
Remote | Full-Time
About the Role
We’re a growing physical therapy and wellness clinic looking for someone who can bring our brand to life through high-quality content - and make sure everything behind the scenes runs just as smoothly.
Please note: This is not a role for a marketing agency. We are looking for someone to work in-house within our organization.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Producing high-quality video content and reels that stop the scroll and drive engagement
- Managing and growing our social media and YouTube presence
- Keeping our CRM, email campaigns, and workflows organized and running on time
We care about real engagement, real leads, and clean systems - not vanity metrics.
We are also an AI-forward company. We use tools like ChatGPT to improve speed and efficiency - and expect our team to do the same.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Content & Video Production
- Edit high-quality videos (short-form + long-form) for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Turn raw footage into polished, engaging reels that match our brand
- Repurpose content across platforms strategically
- Write captions that drive action - using AI as a tool, not a crutch
Design & Creative
- Create clean, professional graphics for:
- Social media
- Email campaigns
- Flyers and in-clinic promotions
- Maintain a consistent, elevated brand look and feel
Social Media & YouTube Management
- Plan, schedule, and publish content consistently
- Optimize YouTube content (titles, thumbnails, descriptions)
- Focus on attracting the right audience, not just growing followers
Marketing Systems & Execution
- Build and manage email campaigns (2 per week)
- Ensure blogs and emails are published accurately and on time
- Maintain and organize CRM (Go High Level or similar)
- Build and manage workflows and automations
- Connect systems using Zapier (or similar tools)
Tracking & Performance
- Monitor:
- Engagement quality (not vanity metrics)
- YouTube performance (watch time, retention)
- Email performance (opens, clicks)
- Lead flow and CRM health
What Matters Most in This Role
- You can create high-quality, scroll-stopping video content
- You have a strong eye for clean, professional design
- You are organized and reliable - things get done on time
- You understand how content connects to lead generation and growth
- You can manage both creative output AND backend systems
- You know how to use AI to enhance your work - not replace your thinking
Must Have
- Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
- Experience creating reels/short-form content that performs
- Graphic design experience (Canva or similar)
- Social media management experience (Instagram + Facebook)
- Experience with a CRM (Go High Level or similar)
- Experience building or managing email campaigns + workflows
- Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier or similar)
- Strong written English
Nice to Have
- YouTube growth experience
- Experience in health, wellness, or service-based businesses
- Experience managing content tied to lead generation funnels
Who This Is a Great Fit For
- A creative who also loves systems
- Someone who takes ownership and follows through without being chased
- Someone who cares about quality, not just output
- Someone who wants to be part of a growing brand and make an impact
This Is NOT a Fit If
- You rely on AI to do your thinking or writing for you
- You only want to edit videos but not manage systems
- You only do admin work but don’t create content
- You chase trends instead of building the right audience
- You need constant direction to stay on track
