Do you get fired up about developing people, creating systems, and setting new standards of excellence?

If you’re a go-getter who leads with heart, thrives on growth, and loves seeing others succeed - this might be the most exciting opportunity you’ll read this year…

About Us:

At CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates, we’re not your typical PT clinic. We’re a cash-based, high-performing, and people-first team located in downtown Portsmouth, NH.

We specialize in helping adults 40+ stay active, mobile, and pain-free - without pills, procedures, or surgery. Our approach blends Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (MDT), Pilates-based rehab, and cutting-edge regenerative technologies like Shockwave and EMTT to deliver unmatched results.

We’re growing fast - and ready to take this business to the next level. That means building a world-class Physical Therapy Department that fuels our expanding Regenerative Medicine and Longevity programs - and we need a Clinical Director to make that happen.

Who We’re Looking For:

You’re not just a great clinician. You’re a builder, a coach, and a strategic thinker who thrives on growth and helping others achieve excellence.

You’re ready to:

  • Take ownership of the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of PTs and support staff.
  • Develop clear standards, systems, and SOPs that ensure consistent, world-class outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of up to 5–6 clinicians and techs - helping them grow both personally and professionally.
  • Partner with our CEO and General Manager to elevate operations and scale our clinical, regenerative therapy, and longevity offerings.
  • Protect the energy of the CEO by owning the PT department - keeping it running smoothly and exceptionally.
  • You understand that leadership is about results, relationships, and raising the bar for everyone around you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

This is a hybrid clinical and leadership role designed for someone who loves treating patients and building systems.

  • Treatment: 24–26 hours/week of 1-on-1 patient care (60-minute sessions, all cash-pay)
  • Leadership/Development: 10–12 hours/week focused on:

    • Recruitment and onboarding of new PTs
    • Leading weekly clinical trainings
    • Developing SOPs and performance tracking systems
    • Conducting 1:1s and performance reviews
    • Collaborating with leadership on business and department growth

This Role Is Perfect For You If...

  • You’re growth-minded and love leading others to success.
  • You naturally take charge and can balance empathy with accountability.
  • You think about the business even when you’re not at work - because you care about impact.
  • You’re energized by solving problems, building systems, and seeing your team thrive.
  • You want to be part of something bigger - helping create a scalable, sellable company that redefines how people experience healthcare.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy (NH license or eligible)
  • 5+ years of outpatient ortho experience preferred
  • Leadership and mentoring experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced training in MDT, Pilates-based rehab, or regenerative therapy a plus
  • Excellent communicator with strong emotional intelligence and business acumen

Compensation & Perks:

  • Salary: $110K–$125K base (depending on experience)
  • Bonus potential tied to department performance and growth metrics
  • Benefits:
    • $250/month health insurance contribution
    • 401(k) with up to 4% company match
    • PTO + holidays
    • Paid Holiday Week (Christmas–New Year’s)
    • Generous CEU allowance + paid CEU days
    • Short-term Disability + Family Paid Medical Leave
